This allows for level towing of trailers etc, also taking away unnecessary strain on the vehicle cause by unlevel towing. This type of adapter has been used extensively on Land Rover Defenders.

The unit itself is extremely robust, towing weights up to 3500kg, along with its protective coating, it offers long time use. The adapter comes with all attaching holes pre-bored, ready for mounting. Accepts most 50mm Ball or Dual Tow Pin towing hitches. Complete with 2 pins for fixing slider plate.
